What African Nomad Safaris Provide:
- 4x4 vehicles: GMC’S (max 6 seats), Land Rover Discovery's (max 3 seats).
- Driver with 17 years experience as a wildlife officer.
- Tour leader / cook who is passionate about Africa and it’s people. (ex British nanny who will help with children on family safaris if required).
- Campmor Timbavati 3 man dome tents (max 2 people).
- Director style chairs.
- Large table.
- Fridge.
- Inverter for charging camera’s, ipods, computers etc.
- Extensive first aid kit.
- Travel games / Guide books.
- DVD for children on long drive days.
What To Bring:
- Sleeping bag.
- Torch.
- Binoculars / camera.
- Insect repellent and sun cream.
- Warm clothes for early starts and a hat.
Most nights, camping will be at campsites that provide toilets, showers, some have a bar and swimming pool. Many of the camps we use in National parks have wildlife walking through them at night! At some campsites you will be able to upgrade to rooms or large safari tents for around $10/20 per night per person. We also bush camp to get the real feel of Africa.
